In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Dawson (Deceased); two sisters, Iretha Dawson-Cowherd (Deceased) and Sheila Dawson (Deceased); and a special sister-in-law, Helen Jean King-Dawson (1947-2017).Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Carol Pack-Dawson; two children, Russell Dawson and Kathy Dawson-Green & husband, Johnny Green; brothers, Sonnie Dawson, Herman Dawson, and Tommie Dawson; sisters, Mae Dawson-Pugh, Barbara Dawson-Miller and Mary Dawson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close church family.Visitation will be on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at New Hope Church, Indian Creek Road, Indian Creek, WV 24874.
